 is a busy little olive farm situated in South East Queensland – 70 minutes from the Sunshine Coast and 2 ½ hours from Brisbane. As a boutique farm, we produce small quantities of premium quality, hand-made products, utilizing traditional, chemical-free methods. It is owned and operated by Alan and Bronwyn Wood, makers of the Fat Hen Farm gourmet range of premium olive oils, olive products and olive skin care.
 While olives are the focus of the farm we also breed Wiltshire Horn sheep, fatten cattle, breed redclaw crayfish and produce fodder crops on the flats of Fat Hen Creek (hence the name of our farm!) Yes, and we do have fat hens, too. Olive grove tours are a feature during cooler months, finishing with a tasting of our gourmet produce. We believe that good food is vital to good health
and essential for the soul!
